HTC have announced these devices in an effort to expand the Desire series, and HTC claims that with the release of these devices, they will be availing HTC One M8’s high-end features to an affordable price. The HTC Desire 526 will be available in one color variant, which will be Stealth Black color.
Display & Dimensions
The HTC Desire 526 will have a 4.7 Inches qHD FWVGA display, having a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, with a pixel per density of 234. Being a qHD screen, the colors are expected to appear moderately bright. The screen should be able to appear clear, and sharp. It is expected that the viewing angles of the unlocked cellphone will be good enough to use the phone under direct sunlight without any hassles. The dimensions of the phone will be 140 x 70 x 9.9 mm, however, the weight of the device is still not specified.
The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 210 chipset, and it will feature have a Quad-core 1.1 GHz Cortex-A7 processor. The graphics of the phone will be ran by the Adreno 304 chipset. The HTC Desire 520 will be packed with 1.5 GB of RAM for running various apps, and multi tasking between them. The internal storage capacity of the device is 16 GB. An external MicroSD can be inserted in order to expand the memory further to store more multimedia items.
The phone will have the Touch Sense UI working on top of the Android Lollipop v5.1 Operating System. The UI will be very much similar to the one found on the other HTC devices. However, with the blend of the latest UI by HTC, and the latest Android Operating system, you will be able to see many minor to major improvements.
The HTC Desire 526 will be packed with a 2000 mAh battery. The battery capacity is standard for all the three devices released along with the phone. The capacity is quite low as compared to the many other competitors present in the market, however, as an exact standby time is still missing, there is a possibility that HTC must have pushed the limits with the 2000 mAh battery altogether by tweaking and optimizing the software and hardware.
The device will feature an 8 Megapixel rear-facing auto-focus equipped with LED Flash camera, which will be able to click high quality shots. The unlocked cellphone will be able to capture photos of up to 3264 x 2448 pixels resolution, and will be able to record videos of 720p at 30 frames per second.
