The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE was released in 2015 in December. It served as the successor to the previously released LG G Pad 8.3. The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE comes in a metal body. The tablet is available brown gold color, with the front exterior being black. The tablet also features a USB v2.0 slot and the device’s measurements are 216.8 x 126.5 x 8.8 mm, with a weight of 366g. A stylus comes along with the LG G Pad II 8.3.
The screen size of the device is 8.3 Inches, and has a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels, making it a quad-HD screen, with a pixel per inch density of 273. An IPS LCD type of display is used in the tablet’s screen. The screen appears to be sharp, with good and vibrant colors. The viewing angles are also decent from all angles.
Software and Hardware
The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE runs on the Android operating system, along with its own UI skinned on top of it. The device’s premium hardware paired up along with the latest Android OS is able to deliver a lag-free experience. The device is also expected to get the latest Android updates as soon as they are made public.
The tablet will be running on the Android Lollipop v5.1.1 Operating system, and it is still unclear whether it will receive an upgrade to Marshmallow or not. It will come powered with a Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset. The processor will be Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53. The graphical processing unit will be powered by an Adreno 405 chipset.
The device becomes available only in one storage variant. The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE will have a MicroSD slot for expanding the storage up to 64 GB for storing media such as audio and video. The unlocked tablet will come packed with a high size of RAM, which can help people multi-task without experiencing any shutters or lag.
The unlocked tablet will be having 16 GB of internal storage for installing applications. 2 GB of RAM will be provided for running applications and multi-tasking between them.
The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE will come with an 8 Megapixel rear-facing camera. The camera is equipped with autofocus capabilities. It will also be able record HD videos of 1080p at 30 fps. A 2 MP front-facing camera will also be available in the device capable of recording video of decent quality.
The unlocked tablet will be supporting a non-removable 4800 mAh battery, which will be able to provide 7-8 hours of usage in a single full charge.
