Samsung Galaxy J1 was released in February 2015. It served as the first entry in the J series of the company. It was released as a low-mid end device, with it offered low-end specifications to make it affordable to larger number of audience. The phone is available in three different color variants, which are white, black and blue.

Design & Display

The Samsung Galaxy J1 does not introduce a new design, rather it adopts a similar design as most of the other phones that the company offers. The sides and back of the phone  are made of soft plastic, which makes it comfortable to hold. The build quality of the device is good, with raised edges on top and bottom of the device. The device’s measurements is 129 x 68.2 x 8.9 mm, with a weight of 122g.

The screen size of the device is 4.3 Inches, and has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, with a pixel per inch density of 217. A TFT type of display is used in the phone’s screen, and the screen has great brightness levels. The viewing angles are average from all angles.

Software and Hardware

The Samsung Galaxy J1 runs on the Android operating system, along with its own UI skinned on top of it. The device’s premium hardware paired up along with the latest Android OS is able to deliver a lag-free experience. The phone will be running on the Android Kitkat v4.4.4 Operating system, and will come powered with a Spreadtrum chipset. The processor will be Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7. The graphical processing unit will be powered by a Mali-400 chipset.

Storage

The device becomes available only in one storage variant. The Samsung Galaxy J1 will have an optional MicroSD slot for expanding the storage up to 128 GB for storing media such as audio and video, but the dual-SIM slot must be sacrificed in doing so. A decent amount of RAM will be packed in the mobile, which can help people multi-task without experiencing any shutters or lag.

The unlocked cellphone will be having 4 GB of internal storage for installing applications. 512 MB of RAM will be provided for running applications and multi-tasking between them.

The Samsung Galaxy J1 will come with a 5 Megapixel rear-facing camera, with an f/2.2 aperture, and a len of 31mm length. The camera is equipped with a LED flash, and autofocus capabilities. It will also be able record HD videos of 720p at 30 fps. A 2 MP front-facing camera will also be available in the device capable of recording video.

LG Ray Price, Features And Review

The LG Ray (Pre-Order Available.. Hurry!!!) will become available shortly in January 2016. It served as a mid segment device, and is called as the “best in class features” by the company. The device will be able available in Titan Black, Silver and Gold Color variants.

LG G Watch R Price, Features And Review

The LG G Watch R was released in 2015 in the month of October. It sets off from the previously released LG G Watch, which was not so popular. The LG G Watch R boasts of real leather strap, angular black metal along with a circle design, paired with a crown. The back of the smartphone consist of a heart-rate sensor, and while there is a microphone for voice commands, there’s no speaker, so you cannot make or receive calls through it.

The LG G Watch R looks exactly like a normal watch, with its round design complete with a crown. It is not another smart watch with a flat screen, rather LG has laid focus on the design of the overall Watch heavily. From a distance, one can’t even say that it is a smartwatch.

The screen size of the watch is 1.3 inches, and has a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels with a pixel per inch density of 245. A P-OLED type of display is used in the smartwatch’s screen. The screen appears better from the G Watch, with everything looking much more sharper, and the colors appearing better thanks to the P-OLED screen. There’s no ambient light sensor mode so brightness must be set manually.

Software and Hardware
The LG G Watch R runs on the Android operating system, like most of the other smartwatches. There’s no other tweaks that LG has done to the watch. You can change the watch faces to one of your liking, and the notifications pop-up from the bottom of the screen.

The watch will be running on the Android Wear OS, and will come powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, with the processor being Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7. The graphical processing unit will be powered by an Adreno 305 chipset. The device supports both Bluetooth and WiFi, and can pair with smartphones, headsets etc.

Storage & Performance
The smartwatch will be having 4 GB of internal storage, and the space can be filled in with music. As there is no headset port or speakers in the device, you can listen to the songs via a Bluetooth headset. 512 MB of RAM is provided inside of the watch for running applications.

The smartwatch will be supporting a non-removable 410 mAh battery, which provides an unexpected good battery life. With mediocre usage, you can last a full, without having to plug in the charger. It can also charge pretty fast with the USB charger.

The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE was released in 2015 in December. It served as the successor to the previously released LG G Pad 8.3. The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE features mid to high end specs, with the major highlights being a full-sized USB port, full HD display, along with LTE connectivity.
